California's a long way away from Europe. 5,500+ miles, 9 time zones, and 11 hours on a direct flight. In short, we don't get back to Holland too often. So when we do, it's always a treat to see everyone, and this past fall was no exception.

Two glorious (and sunny!) fall weeks, split between friends and family, both in and outside of Amsterdam. We kicked things off with Kley and Karen's Wedding (check it out here), followed by a short week in Amsterdam, then a visit up north to see my Dad, and finally a long leisurely autumnal weekend back in Hilversum with Kley, Karen, Hunter, Skyler, and a wide assortment of our friends.
