Ashley and Tucker became proud parents on Wednesday December 4th, 2002. Ash gave birth to an astonishingly beautiful little girl, Lynlee Brice Tucker, at 4:20pm in Denver.

Lynlee immediately showed spunk by deciding to arrive a full five weeks early! One day Kat and I are dawdling about in Santa Barbara wondering what to do first (whites, or colors?) — when Ash and Tucker call us from their car, informing us they're on their way to the hospital 'cause her water broke! But, but, but...

Kat flipped immediately into overdrive (aka 'oma-drive'), and with the fantastic help of Lysandra and Craig actually got a direct flight to Denver the very next morning and hightailed it to the hospital where — with an hour to spare —she witnessed the birth of her first granddaughter; Lynlee Brice Tucker.
