Wow! We knew we loved it in the Vineyard, but that summer was just ridiculous. After a somewhat slow and cold spring, summer really came into its own now. Killer BBQ's, long drawn out summer evenings around the pool, crowded beaches, and fantastic sailing.

No travel for a change, just us hanging out at the pool house again. And of course, as you can see with this series, summer sailing around the Vineyard and the Cape, or as the locals say, 'Sailing to America'.

Kat's worked hard all season at 'Chef Works' catering. The Vineyard is a very popular wedding destination. Dirk took off to Holland again that August for business. September was our last month on the Vineyard, so we made the most of it!
